We handle each project on an individual basis, this is why an estimate is always provided before we begin the design process. For full service design there is a 15% designer fee of the project budget. This means if you have a budget of $3000, the designer fee will be $450. It's your choice to have the designer fee separate from your shopping budget or to include it. There is also an option of a $500 flat rate design fee, this service is different than full service design. For services that do not have a set price, we will provide a detailed list explaining the tasks needed to complete the project along with the allotted time frame we expect each task to take. When do I have to pay for my services?
Payment for any service is due up-front. Special circumstances permit the option of placing 50% down on full service design fees totaling more than $1000. The remaining will be collected before design installation.

How long will it take to complete my project?
Because each project is unique, the time it takes to finish each one varies. What we can say for sure is that for full-service design, projects aren't completed in a weekend like you see on popular television shows. Even they start planning and order pieces way before episodes air. So, with that said, you can expect your project to be implemented in a timely manner. If we are doing the shopping online usually items ship within 1-2 business days and we can complete a job extremely fast. Some jobs don't require special order furniture and custom materials, and in these cases designs can easily be completed in the realistic time frame of your choice. For projects that involve custom furniture; upholstery can take 6-10 weeks for fabric and 6-14 weeks for leather. Casegoods usually take about 6-8 weeks. Please note that time frames may vary depending on product availability. Don't let that discourage you though, not all projects have to be lengthy! Nikita's knowledge of vendors and resources can ensure your project will be completed by a requested date.

What if I live in an apartment?
People are always suprised to hear that you can redesign your space even if you live in an apartment. Even if you cannot paint there are many options available to add color and texture to your space. Contact us and we can show you the many ways we can assist you with your design needs.

What if I don't have a lot of money?
Don't worry! There are NO surprises... we provide an estimate for our services before we begin so you can decide when a good time financially is best for you to start. There is also always the option of completing your project in phases. This means you decide what room and pieces you would like to focus on first and we create a purchasing plan. For example: You may purchase your sofa and chairs one month and a rug and lighting a couple months down the road. We can do it this way because we keep a detailed record of each piece in your design so the project can be carried out at anytime. We can help you create a schedule and budget to make your dream a reality but on your terms and timeline!

What if I want to do more than one space?
We recommend it! A lot of people do complete redesigns. Completing your project this way is great because you get the ultimate WOW effect! You get to see the entire transformation of your space all at once.

I don't have a lot of space, do you only do big jobs?
No job is too big or too small we place all of our focus on providing funcitonal design solutions for any space. We are more concerned about creating pleasing and welcoming environments that change the mood and lifestyle of our clients : )
